The restoration of the Bells of St. James has begun. On Tuesday May 25, Meeks, Watson & Co. supervised the removal of our eleven bells and bell frame, leaving a very empty belfry! Three short videos are online:

The Bells will spend the summer in Georgetown, Ohio, where they will be tuned and refurbished. A new steel bell frame will be constructed, and four new high bells will be cast. In the fall they will be reinstalled in the tower, along with the refurbished chimestand and new clock connections. Stay tuned!
