The Bells of St. James is now on its summer schedule as noted below. Before and after every concert we will check outside the south narthex door (the one in the picture to the right; it faces down the hill towards the river) for any visitors who would like to tour the tower. Michel Allard covers most of the Tuesday concerts. This year he is on stage at the Festival where he has a part in Hamlet-as a musician, of course! Peter Ryde plays most of the Thursday evening concerts. There are a number of Saturday weddings as well when the chime will be in action: July 20 & 26 and August 9 & 16.

The Chime Renovation Committee has been hard at work organizing the proposed restoration project expected to happen in 2010. Further details will be available by the end of the summer and will be posted on this website. Also coming up is the 100th Anniversary of the Bells of St. James in September 2009. Plans are underway for some chiming events to mark the occasion. Exciting times!
