Prayer Letter

Psalms 106:1 "Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. For his loving kindness is everlasting!"

We continue to experience God's faithfulness! We praise him for good health, provision, protection and everyday His forgiveness and mercy.

The weather! Let me start by bragging about the weather! We have had sun everyday for the past 7 months except for a 10 minute rain we had one day a few months ago. The temperature is around 25 degrees Celsius/ 70 Fahrenheit! No humidity... just beautiful sunny days! How has your winter been?

Life at Meserete Kristos College! Fanosie continues to enjoy his teaching opportunities! During the break between semesters, he taught a six week Saturday class for a group of students from Nazareth.

Needs

This will be our first experience of being missionaries returning without house or home or car or beds! Our family is no longer made up of two and we cannot stay in someone's guest room for this length of time.

If you can help us with any of the needs below please let us know or speak to Art or Evelyn Byer. Our flight is not yet booked but we hope to be in Canada by June 7th and will leave middle of August or before.

Do you have a travel trailer that will not be used this summer?
My brother and his family are willing to host us at their place but we need some living space. We are able to pay a small amount to use it, if you have one available! Please let us know if you do!

Car? We are trying to plan how to travel around in a country that relies so heavily on individual vehicles. We have one thought of buying an inexpensive car for the two months we are there and selling it before we go... or shortly after? Do you have any ideas?

Booster Seat? Here in Ethiopia the children are allowed to stand, sit, or even ride on the roof of a vehicle if they want. In Canada we will need a booster seat for Zach.

We have a car seat for Lydia that we will bring with us but Zach will need one. Does anyone have one that is not being used? He weighs about 18kg.
