Sea Shells Scarf
Here's my latest addtion to "2007, Year of the Scarves": it's the Sea Shells Scarf (#7) from Take Along Knits - Koigu Scarves II by Maie Landra. I posed the scarf in front of the new flowerbed stone border that Derek is slowly assembling -- it's a huge project but it's going to look so good when it's done! Anyway, the yarn was handpainted for me by my downstream SP7 Rachel/KnittyKnotty last year, and I managed to get two scarves out of it, which I think is amazing! I used a 3.75 mm needle, and blocked the daylights out of the scarf for maximum length. Check out a closeup here. I finished this scarf a couple of weeks ago, but because this was a gift for LC, my knittyboard downstream SP9, I had to wait until she received her final package today before posting it. I'm quite happy with this project and I hope she is too! I like to think of it as "paying the SP love forward"...

It's lovely! I like the pattern - I'll have to remember that one.
OOOH pretty! Please remind me what weight yarn I dyed for you, was that fingering?
So glad you liked working with it, I hope she likes the scarf!
