I knew I knit SOMETHING this summer...
I was reviewing my blog recently while stewing over my server problems and inability to publish yet again (looks like I'm finally back, at least for now), and it seemed like it was awfully light on knitting content over the summer. I was sure I had gotten some knitting done at some point -- then I remembered Kristen's unblogged birthday gift, Adrienne Robson's MaryElla from Knitty. It was unblogged because I didn't think to take a picture before I gave it to her, fairly close to her birthday for once. As you can see from the unwoven ends, it wasn't 100% done... I finished at the last minute, as is my wont. So when Kristen posted this picture she took for her blog (she's going to be making a clasp from that lovely stone), I asked if she would be so kind to allow me to post a copy, and she graciously agreed. I look forward to seeing the finished product with clasps once Kristen's bout of artistic "block" passes! I used a slightly heavier thread than the pattern called for, but I think it turned out pretty nicely, although next time I think I'll go for a more monochromatic look and use the prescribed DMC Cotton Perle 8... I have some gorgeous cranberry beads and thread to make one for me eventually!

Aha! I was wondering why I hadn't seen your last couple of posts until yesterday.
MaryElla is quite lovely - it's a project I haven't tackled, but hope to at some point.
Your final package should be going out in tomorrow's mail, assuming that the one thing is done blocking and has dried.
Have a lovely Thursday!
