"My So-Called Scarf"

... and it detracted from the beauty of my new scarf! Look at the gorgeous scarf my Knittyboard SP8 "TheAnswer" knit for me -- it's the famous "My So-Called Scarf" in a colourway of Patons SWS that will go with half my wardrobe! As I posted on the board, it's like she read my mind; I always intended to knit myself this pattern one of these days. I got tons of compliments on it at work today and now some of my coworkers want me to teach them to knit! She didn't just send this lovely scarf, either. She also sent some great recipes; a bath bomb, the lovely fragrance of which imbued the scarf; the Duran Duran greatest hits Decade CD for me to work out to and relive my youth by; AND two Green & Blacks organic bittersweet 70% chocolate bars, one for me and one for Derek, which we devoured for dessert last night and man, was it awesome! A very generous package. I'm touched that this stranger took time to *make* me a scarf. Thank you so much!
