Christmas 2006, Year of the Scarves

Maggie's scarf

I knit four fuzzy scarves as Christmas gifts this year. Here is the ribbed scarf I made for my niece Maggie of Patons Pixie paired with Patons Fresco, both discontinued yarns I had in my stash, picked up cheap a couple years ago at the Spinrite factory outlet's semi-annual sale. She was so sweet when she opened it -- her first question was, "Did you MAKE this?" I think of my nieces, she's the one who most appreciates the thought and work that goes into hand-knits.
