Our stepdance judges this year are Jeremey Luxton, Karen Warren and Tiffany Fewster. The fiddle judges are Mark Sullivan, Karen Reed and Shane Cook. Mathew Johnson will be our house fiddler, Jake Charron and Melika Lemelin will serve as our house pianists. Larry Stacey will once again be our emcee.

Our committee is pleased to celebrate our 25th anniversary and we have exciting changes and events in store. The weekend kicks off with a variety show at 8 p.m. on Thursday at the pavilion hosted by our very own Larry Stacey. Mark Sullivan and Shane Cook are hosting fiddle workshops on Friday (no pre-registration required).

Quehl's of Tavistock will again provide a buffet-style roast beef dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Alleviate the stress of trying to get served in time at a restaurant or preparing your own meal! Once again we have made arrangements for our ever-popular Gospel Breakakfast on Sunday morning at the pavillion.

The committee has decided to follow the trend of most of the other contests and we will no longer allow our trophies to be taken home. Instead we will mail out pictures of the first-place winners with their trophies after the contest weekend.

Please note: Changes in the rules for the 65 and over fiddle class and the Open Stepdance finals. Also, this year, campers who arrive before 2 p.m. on Wednesday are asked to park their camping units at the Memorial Hall in front of the arena until the Fiddle Park opens at 2 p.m.
